Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy (OT) is provided by a qualified Occupational Therapist in accordance with your physician’s written orders. Patients requiring Occupational Therapy include, but are not limited to:
- Accident, i.e. fractured hip Amputation of an extremity or digits Arthritis Cerebral Vascular Accident
- Neuro-Muscular diseases
- Psychiatric illnesses
The Occupational Therapy Program may include, but is not limited to:
- Assistance with feeding programs
- Designing, Fabricating and Fitting of orthotic and self-help devices
- Perception, Strengthening and Balance training
- Restorative Therapy for improving independence in activities for daily living
- Teaching Compensating techniques
