Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy (OT) is provided by a qualified Occupational Therapist in accordance with your physician’s written orders. Patients requiring Occupational Therapy include, but are not limited to:

  • Accident, i.e. fractured hip Amputation of an extremity or digits Arthritis Cerebral Vascular Accident
  • Neuro-Muscular diseases
  • Psychiatric illnesses

The Occupational Therapy Program may include, but is not limited to:

  • Assistance with feeding programs
  • Designing, Fabricating and Fitting of orthotic and self-help devices
  • Perception, Strengthening and Balance training
  • Restorative Therapy for improving independence in activities for daily living
  • Teaching Compensating techniques
