Skilled Nursing

Skilled nursing services are provided by a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) under the direction of a supervising nurse. Your nurse is your health care team leader and coordinates all the services you receive, communicating with your physician to update your plan of care.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy (PT) services are provided by licensed professional staff in accordance with your physician’s plan of care. Accredited only employs PT’s who are graduates of colleges accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association. Patients requiring physical therapy services are those presenting intractable pain and physical dependence on others for transfer, mobility, and ambulation needs.

Speech Language-Pathology (SLP) is provided by a qualified Speech Therapist in accordance with your physician’s written orders. The therapist will include family members, as appropriate, to properly supplement oral and communication exercises in the home.

Accredited’s Medical Social Workers provide assistance to home-bound patients who have social and emotional issues related to their medical needs. Our social workers can also assist with nursing home placement in the event that becomes necessary.
